Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Next Generation Movers ("we," "us"). By requesting a quote or booking a move with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Estimates & Pricing
All estimates are provided in good faith based on the information you supply. Hourly estimates may vary with actual time on-site. Flat-rate binding estimates require an accurate inventory; adding items after the estimate may result in an adjusted price disclosed before service begins.
2. Deposits & Payment
Some moves require a deposit to reserve a date. Deposits are applied to your final invoice. Full payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule up to 72 hours before your move at no charge. Cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled move may forfeit the deposit. Weather-related reschedules are always free of charge.
4. Liability & Valuation
Every move includes released-value coverage of $0.60 per pound per item (standard industry protection). Full Value Protection is available at additional cost. Claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of delivery. We are not liable for items packed by the customer (PBO), items of extraordinary value not disclosed in advance, or damage caused by pre-existing defects.
5. Items We Will Not Move
We do not transport hazardous materials, perishables, live plants or pets, cash, jewelry, prescription medications, or irreplaceable documents. See our Moving Checklist for the full list.
6. Delays
While we make every effort to hit the agreed-upon time window, factors outside our control (traffic, weather, building elevator holds, prior job overruns) may cause delays. We will communicate delays promptly.
7. Property Access
You are responsible for ensuring safe, legal access to both origin and destination, including parking permits, elevator reservations, and any homeowner-association requirements.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes will be resolved in Wisconsin courts.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
